Happy Birthday John Oswad

It’s you birthday today John, could it be your 64th? My calendar you made and donated to the last W.Oswald reunion auction is still showing August, – I know it is the last day of September but I really liked the August photo. Tell me the story.

Enjoy your birthday, wish I could be there to share it with you. Love You Always and Forever

  1. Thank you for the birthday wish, what a nice surprise. My birthday is the last day of September and I am 64 turning 65. I’m old enough to retire now although I did retire two years ago and am enjoying it immensely.
I’m glad you enjoyed the calendar. If I remember correctly the August photo was of the sunrise on the Niobrara river. The Niobrara flows across northern Nebraska from Wyoming nust above Yankton SD. It’s a unique and beautiful river and I spend a lot of time kayaking parts of it That particular photo was taken in north central Nebraska where I have been lucky enough to get to use a cabin that belongs to a gentleman I just happened to meet a few years ago. He owns a motel that I happened to stay at and when he found out I liked to kayak offered to let me use it, which I do a couple times a year. How lucky am I? It’s a beautiful spot and I take a lot of photos there. I’m glad you like that one it’s one of my favorites. Thanks again for the birthday wishes. Hope you are all well and staying safe!

How lucky am I? It’s about a seven hr drive but well worth it. I’m glad you like the photo it’s one of my favorites.
Thanks again for the birthday wishes , I hope all is well with you and you are staying safe!
